Search and rescue in British Columbia is performed by volunteers, but it is not free to operate. Equipment, training, vehicles, and facilities are essential to keeping our team operational and safe.
Comox Valley Search & Rescue is a registered Canadian charity, and donations made through CanadaHelps are eligible for an official tax receipt. Your support plays a critical role in our ability to respond effectively when people need help most.
We also accept donations by Interac e-transfer to info@cvgsar.com.
Tax receipts can be issued for donations of $20 or more. E-transfers are preferred, as they allow more of your donation to go directly toward supporting our search and rescue operations by avoiding third-party processing fees.
